“Asili is undoubtedly the maximum expression of the elegance and complexity of Barbaresco. Historic vineyard among the most popular in the DOCG that evokes childhood memories to me when shortly after the construction of the homonymous winery I enjoyed playing hide and seek with my cousins among the barrels. " -Lisa Ceretto- If there is a vineyard that we can consider absolute standard bearer of the municipality of Barbaresco, this is the vineyard of the Asili. For us it is a place with a particular symbolic value, having been the first piece of a vineyard park that, in the early seventies, we were going to compose.

The wine is a concentrate of aromatic lightness and sobriety. The nose is spicy, deep and tapered: it is an ode to blood orange, dog rose, small and crunchy fruits. In the mouth it is monumental, accompanied by prodigious tannins and great acidity: elements that are the basis of its proverbial aging capacity.
HOW TO SERVE
16-18 °C (77°F)
It is advisable to let the wine 'breathe' at least 30 minutes before serving.
Suitable for aging, it is recommended to drink it between 3 and 15 years, if properly stored.
it is perfect to drink with dishes based on red meats, such as roasts and braised meats, game, preparations with the famous white truffle of Alba and aged cheeses.
