DESCRIPTION
One of the most famous wines in the world, and also one of the oldest whose history dates back to 1680. Mouton Rothschild produces up to 350000 bottles of wine per year.
Medoc
Grapes harvested manually. The must ferments in oak vats in a thermo-controlled chamber.
22 months in French oak barrels.
Intense ruby red color. Ripe berries on the nose, blackcurrant jam. Great maturity. On the palate it is balanced with a lot of acidity and intense concentration, soft tannins and a long and harmonious finish.
HOW TO SERVE
16-18 ºC
It is recommended to let it breathe 1 hour before tasting it.
If stored in the cellar, after the vintage, it has an aging of over 50 years.
Perfect with appetizers, soups, red and white meats, with game. Perfect with stewed lamb with vegetables.
