DESCRIPTION
“Asili is undoubtedly the maximum expression of the elegance and complexity of Barbaresco. Historic vineyard among the most popular in the DOCG which evokes childhood memories to me when shortly after the construction of the homonymous winery I enjoyed playing hide and seek with my cousins among the barrels. -Lisa Ceretto- If there is a vineyard that we can consider absolute standard-bearer of the municipality of Barbaresco, this is the Asili vineyard. For us it is a place with a particular symbolic value, having been the first piece of a park of vineyards that, in the early seventies, we were preparing to compose.
Barbaresco
Assembly of Barolo DOCG wine and 12 aromatic herbs, obviously including quinine, which are infused separately and then combined with Barolo.
after malolactic fermentation (December), the wine is transferred to French oak tonneaux for 12 months and 12 months in 25 hl barrels.
Garnet Red. On the nose it expresses floral aromas in youth that over time give way to ethereal aromas of spices, chocolate and truffles. In the mouth, it has a bitter impact well balanced by sugar and alcohol, in a continuous succession of flavors that closes with a pleasantly bitter return.
