DESCRIPTION

NIPOZZANO CASTLE, MUNICIPALITY OF PELAGO (FI)
Once the grapes arrive in the cellar rooms used for vinification, they macerate for 25 days with frequent batonnage, carrying out both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. AGING 24 months, partly in wood.
30 hl Austrian and French oak barrels 18 months in cask and 6 in bottle.
Nipozzano 2014 has a clear and bright purple red color to the nose is intense and complex, where floral notes and clear hints of small red berries such as raspberry, blackberry and blueberry prevail, followed by toasted and spicy notes of tea leaves, nutmeg and coffee. The entry into the mouth is warm, soft and remarkably fresh. It is elegant and enveloping with fine tannins and well integrated into the structure with a long and persistent finish.
