DESCRIPTION
Campo ai Sassi Rosso di Montalcino presents the typical characteristics of Sangiovese, grown in this area, in a youthfully disengaged version. The deep soils on which these vineyards are grown help to give rise to fragrant and elegant wines with a light and delicate tannic texture.
TENUTA ADMIRAGLIA - MUNICIPALITY OF MAGLIANO (GR)
Once harvested, the Sangiovese grapes were fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. During this phase, the breakages of the cap were of fundamental importance, allowing a perfect extraction of the polyphenolic substances.
Subsequently the wine passed a period of refinement in the cellar, part of which in wood. A further 4 months of bottle have completed its qualitative journey, before being released for consumption.
Campo ai Sassi 2017 stands out for its intense and brilliant ruby red color. The bouquet strikes for the strong aroma of violet enriched by notes of red and black berries such as black currant and blackberry. The taste is confirmed as rich, generous with a texture. evident tannins but without excesses. The fresh mentholated finish gives it balance and pleasantness.
