DESCRIPTION
All the clusters of "Castel Ringberg" come from the estate of the same name: the largest vineyard in South Tyrol with its 20 hectares surrounding the Hapsburg castle from 1620. At an altitude of about 300 m asl with pedoclimatic conditions mitigated by the flywheel of the Caldaro lake, the morainic soils and the good exposure of the rows allow high quality productions.
Tramin LOCALITY CALDARO (BO)
Fermentation in steel with 10 days maceration on the skins and subsequent malolactic fermentation in cask. Maturation for 20 months in French oak barrels.
After blending, it is refined in the bottle for a long time.
Lagrein Riserva Vigna "Castel Ringberg" stands out for its intense and deep garnet red color and its refined and fruity bouquet: fresh aromas of cranberries, currants and cherries are combined with delicate notes of tobacco and chocolate. Soft and velvety tannins. Its fresh and spicy structure, youthful elegance and lots of charm combined with mineral and stimulating persistence convince on the palate.
