DESCRIPTION
Monica is a grape that was introduced in Sardinia by the monastic congregations who settled on the island around the year 1000. Since then the grapes, perfectly acclimatized on soils composed of limestone and marl, have become an important figure of Sardinian enology. Iselis Monica is a Mediterranean red, typically Sardinian.
ESTATE ISELIS
Maceration at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C for about 10-12 days. Carrying out the malolactic fermentation in vitrified concrete wine vessels for 10-15 days.
Refinement in bottle for about 6 months and in barriques for 12 months.
Color: ruby red. Nose: intense and enveloping, red cherry fruit and plum in evidence, sweetly accompanied by notes of vanilla and cinnamon. Taste: harmonious and velvety with very sweet tannins, red fruit and spices in perfect balance, very long and pleasant finish.
