Proud, majestic, complex, exuberant: he is the gentle giant of Masi. He is a point of reference for the Amaroni category, which together with Barolo and Brunello represents the aristocracy of Italian reds. It is the result of the authoritative expertise of Masi in the drying technique: the native varieties of Valpolicella Classica Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara rest on bamboo racks in the winter months, concentrating the aromas.

Amarone is the result of the ancient method of "drying" the grapes known since Roman times. The traditional vinification in steel and wood follows.

CELLAR
Rooted in Valpolicella Classica, Masi produces and distributes Amarone and other fine wines inspired by the values of the Venetian territory. The use of native grapes and methods and the research and experimentation activity of its Technical Group make it one of the best known Italian producers of excellent wines in the world. Its history begins in 1772, when the Boscaini family buys precious vineyards in the small valley called “Vaio dei Masi”. Hence the name of the company, still owned by the family, which, after more than 200 years of passionate work, actively operates today with the sixth and seventh generation. Read more
