It was 1964 and on the gentle Veronese hills Guido Boscaini understood that it was time to translate the extraordinary energy of those years into a new wine with strong expressiveness. 'Amarone. Starting in the 80s, the technique was further developed by Masi. The result? The use of native grapes and methods and the research and experimentation activity of its Technical Group make it one of the best known Italian producers of excellent wines in the world. Its history begins in 1772, when the Boscaini family buys precious vineyards in the small valley called “Vaio dei Masi”. Hence the name of the company, still owned by the family, which, after more than 200 years of passionate work, actively operates today with the sixth and seventh generation. Read more
