DESCRIPTION
Grown on high ground, from vineyards with high planting density that reach an altitude of 900 m asl, Franz Haas' Pinot Noir can be considered a "white among reds" for its profile of extraordinary freshness and elegance of his bouquet.
MOUNTAIN (BZ)
The vinification of the grapes takes place in open tanks in which the fermenting must comes into contact with the skins through frequent pumping over and punching down. Thanks to these techniques the coloring substances and the aromas contained in the peel are extracted and passed to the wine. Subsequently the wine ages for one year in barrique.
After bottling, the wine ages for a few months in the bottle.
The bouquet opens with notes of cherries and raspberries, marzipan and plum jam, cloves and cinnamon. At the end aromas of undergrowth are perceived. The wine is fresh and lively on the palate thanks to elegant tannins that make it aromatic and round and ensure an inviting and tasty flavor
