Traditional natural method. Resting on the arèle (traditional bamboo cane racks): 120 days. Pressing in the first days of January.
Aging for 6-7 years in Slavonian oak barrels, 60 hl.
Intense red color, with garnet shades. The typical notes of plum, cherry and morello cherry stand out on the nose, followed by a great variety of tones: dried fruit, tea leaf, licorice and spices. On the palate, hints of red berry fruit, sweetened by soft notes of vanilla, in perfect balance with acidity and tannic notes.

It is advisable to let the wine 'breathe' at least half an hour before serving
OVER 10 YEARS
It can be paired with red meats, game and aged cheeses but is also a perfect companion at the end of the meal and in meditation.
CELLAR
SINCE 1857 The Bertani winery was founded in 1857 by the brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani, in Quinto di Valpantena, north of Verona. Gaetano was already then an expert in the art of making wine, having learned the new techniques in France from Professor Guyot, still considered one of the leading experts in viticulture today. The beginning of the Bertani's activity coincides with the innovative spirit that pushes them to use the most advanced production techniques, both in the viticultural and oenological fields, applied to all the properties of the time, in Valpantena and Soave, always respecting the territory and the culture of crops in the area.
