Pomino Bianco DOC 2020 - Frescobaldi: WHY WE LIKE IT

The vineyards of this estate grown in the higher altitudes of Tuscany where we find a cool and breezy climate, makes this wine fresh and pleasant, which remains straw yellow with delicate shades of gold. The nose recalls white flowers but is full of fruity notes such as apricots, quinces and pears.

CELLAR Frescobaldi

For centuries, Frescobaldi has been an established name in Tuscany. The family was initially known as a wealthy banker family with a large cultural and political network. The Frescobaldis have been producing wine in the Tuscany region for seven hundred years. This began in the historic Tenuta di Castiglioni. This was the family's first winery. The estate is located in Val di Pesa, south-west of Florence. The Castiglioni estate was built in 1300 and has been owned by the Frescobaldi family ever since. The winery supplied the papal court of Rome and the royal court of England, among others.
