DESCRIPTION
A Brunello that comes from the company's vineyards that zoning studies, begun in 1980, have allowed us to identify as the most suitable for Sangiovese.
LOC. CASTELLO POGGIO ALLE MURA, MONTALCINO (SI).
Fermentation: at a controlled temperature (25-30 °) in combined steel vats and Horizon French oak.
40% in French oak barrels of 60 and 90 hl. and 60% in 350 l French oak barrels for 2 years.
Intense ruby red with garnet hues. The complex bouquet is articulated on spicy aromas of vanilla, coffee and tobacco, against a background of plum jam. On the palate it reveals a structure of very well polymerized noble tannins. Persistent finish with good aging aptitude.
