DESCRIPTION
The challenge of Pinot Noir in purity for the first and only Blanc de Noirs by Casa Ferrari: a vintage fruit of forty years of research, created with grapes selected in the best owned vineyards, on the slopes of the Trentino mountains. Extraordinarily different and proudly unique
Vineyards owned by the Lunelli family grown in the highest areas within the farms of Villa Margon, Maso Orsi and Maso Valli, at over 400 meters.
Careful selection of Pinot Noir grapes only, harvested by hand in mid-September.
At least 6 years on selected yeasts from own cultures.
Golden and shiny. The perlage is very fine and persistent. Material, rich and mature: an olfactory range of great complexity that ranges from fruity to mineral, up to toasted. A great wine with a certain personality, of rare complexity, in perfect balance between fruity and toasted notes, completed by an intriguing flavor. On the palate, the elegant creaminess knows how to surprise in a dynamism that culminates in an enveloping and majestic finish. Its character is clearly attributable to the great expression of Chardonnay and is manifested by citrus flavors and hints of white flowers accompanied by marine sensations. Fresh notes of mountain herbs and subtle spicy notes then emerge in the glass. The entry into the mouth, initially soft and enveloping, soon gives way to a decisive savory note which then lets a finish emerge with notes of dried fruit and aromatic herbs.
HOW TO SERVE
6-8 ° C
To enjoy it at its best, let the wine 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before serving
it can mature in the cellar for 3/5 years
Splendid throughout the meal, the Producer recommends pairing it with a focaccia with Bronte pistachio mortadella, or with a large plate of bucatini alla carbonara.
CELLAR
The Ferrari myth was born from a man, Giulio Ferrari, and from his dream of creating in Trentino a wine capable of comparing itself with the best French Champagnes. He is a pioneer: it is he who first perceives the extraordinary vocation of the land of him, he who first spreads Chardonnay in Italy. He begins to produce a few carefully selected bottles, with an obsessive cult for quality. Learn more
