DESCRIPTION
Southern Sardinia is masterfully summarized in this great wine. Carignano and Bovale Sardo intertwine in a red with a great tannic texture and superb structure. “Terre Brune” brings back to the wild nature giving sensations of myrtle and Mediterranean scrub.
Vineyards of the lower Sulcis
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for a period of approx. 15 days, during which the maceration of the marc allows a complete diffusion of the polyphenolic substances contained in the skins in the must. Following the early malolactic fermentation allows the passage of the wine in barriques as early as the beginning of December.
The aging in new fine-grained French oak barrels continues for a maximum of 16-18 months, after which the wine has acquired complexity, style and longevity. Aging 12 months in the bottle.
Color: very intense, dark ruby red. Bouquet: complex and enveloping, hints of withered fruits and flowers, spicy notes of vanilla and black pepper. Taste: balanced for its extractive components, structured, soft, elegant, harmonious.
