DESCRIPTION

Areas located between the plains and the slopes of the province of Gorizia, Capriva del Friuli (GO)

As soon as they arrive in the cellar, the grapes are delicately pressed. The must is left to settle for 24-48 hours. Alcoholic fermentation then begins, conducted at low temperatures (15-17 ° C) for 15 days. The vinification is carried out in steel tanks and barriques (10%), keeping the wine at low temperatures, avoiding malolactic fermentation. After fermentation, the wine rests for 4 months on the noble lees which are frequently stirred.

Aging container: classic stainless steel tanks and partly new barriques. Aging duration: 2 months in barriques, 4 months in steel and one month in bottle.

Pale straw yellow, it has a lively nose of green apple and citrus, with sweeter shades of jasmine and orange blossom. The palate is elegant, with a balanced acid texture and sensations of wild herbs and toasted hazelnuts. The finish is persistent and savory.

A versatile wine, to be enjoyed as an aperitif, with rich salads, first courses and fish-based dishes. The ideal companion for summer dishes.
