DESCRIPTION
The Maison stands out for the quality of its crus located in the Pouilly Fuissé area, in the ancient and historic Clos du Pavillon. The place called l'Ancien Prieuré pays homage to the medieval Benedictine hospices of Cluny and Tournus. The clayey-limestone soils are rich in hipparion (fossil skeletons of horses dating back to the tertiary sector) which give juicy wines, with a beautiful complexity.
Pouilly Fuisse
Destemming and delicate pressing to obtain the free-run must and give rise to the alcoholic fermentation which takes place, at low temperatures, in stainless steel containers for a few weeks.
About 12 months in small oak barrels
Golden yellow color that smells of white fruit and citrus, with hints of white plum, lime and verbena. In the mouth it is lively, very fresh with touches of minerality. It is then balanced and harmonious in the finish
