Ceretto
Ceretto can be counted among the few wineries whose wines are truly unique. In the Piedmont region, in north-western Italy, the landscape is dominated by large hilly areas. At the edge of the Po Valley is the city of Alba, known as the seat of the Ceretto winery.
Ceretto is an Italian winery whose wines, architecture and surrounding landscape are equally impressive. Wine connoisseurs say that the region, which was already cultivated in the early Middle Ages, is one of the most famous wine areas in the country. The Ceretto winery, which today covers 120 hectares, was founded in the 30s by Riccardo Ceretto. In the sixties, his two sons Bruno and Marcello took over the estate and expanded it in the following years. In 1973, they had a new cellar built and equipped the cellar's production rooms with state-of-the-art equipment.
