“Sperss” Langhe DOC 2005 - Gaja

Gaja, a winery in the heart of the Langhe that has always been able to keep up with the times, has been able to build a strong brand by producing wines that tell the story of its territory. Sperss is an austere wine full of character that remains in the glass in Bordeaux color. It seduces the nose with aromas of pure fruit, blackberry, raspberry and cherry, hints of licorice and notes of truffles.

CELLAR

Gaja is a world famous winery located in Piedmont, in the north-western part of Italy. Founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja in the small town of Barbaresco, the estate started with just 2 hectares of vineyards, planted in the hills near Barbaresco. Each generation has expanded the estate. However Angelo Gaja (fifth generation), who became the owner in 1970 (but had already started working in the vineyards since 1961) achieved the most recent success.
