DESCRIPTION
Land that does not reach an area of 2 hectares and its reputation is very ancient, for at least six centuries. This vintage has been defined as grandiose as well as the evolution of this wine. The wines that are obtained from this Domaine, despite the amazing prices, still manage to put everyone in agreement and are designed to challenge and last over time.
Côte de Nuits.
The vineyards are managed by organic farming, the interventions in the cellar are reduced to a minimum to ensure that a completely natural vinification is obtained. The grapes are harvested later than in the other vineyards in Burgundy. Fermentation takes place at relatively low temperatures. No filtration but the clarification technique with egg white is used.
Aging takes place in 100% new barriques to enhance the quality of the grapes.
Ruby red color. The nose releases a bouquet of peony, dog rose, red berries, citrus peel, sweet spices. Soft and velvety on the palate, concentrated with a long finish.
HOW TO SERVE
15-18 ºC
It is recommended to let it breathe 1 hour before tasting it.
After the vintage, it has an aging of 35 years.
Recommended with grilled red and white meats, poultry and game.
