“La Grola” Limited Edition Wassily Kandinsky - 'Veronese' IGT 2013 - Allegrini

The first vintage of this great wine was produced in 1983 and marked the cultural and enological rebirth of Allegrini. In homage to the characteristics of La Grola, the idea came to life of setting up a gallery of artist labels opened with the 2010 vintage from the Limited Edition work of Milo Manara, followed by 2011 with the creation of Arthur Duff and 2012 with a painting by Athos Faccincani. La Grola 2013 met Wassily Kandinsky's Composition VI by permission of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, in order to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the artist's birth. From Russia, La Grola 2014 flew to Brazil and “talked” with Nazareno Rodrigues Alves who, with his wonderful drawings, managed to highlight the varied presence of animals on the Family farms. Return to Italy for the 2015 thousandth with Leonardo Ulian inspired by James Frazer's Golden Branch, while now it's the turn of a great Japanese artist: Hiroyuki Masuyama. Through a highly innovative process, the Limited Edition of La Grola is the fascinating synthesis of the "superimposed images" of the vineyard. After Milo Manara and Arthur Duff, Maestro Athos Faccincani is the Artist of the Special Edition of La Grola 2012, the symbolic wine of Allegrini and of the entire Valpolicella. Athos Faccincani has bewitched international audiences and critics with his lush landscapes and the sweet strength of colors, becoming, over time, an "absolute" reference. The label, taken from an original painting titled “Corvo in Volo”, was presented at Vinitaly 2015.
