DESCRIPTION
From grapes grown on the granitic decaying soils of Arzachena, and made healthy by the breezes that blow from the libeccio quadrants. “Barriu”, from the ancient name given to the donkey's soma, is a wine full of elegance and structure with a very respectable evolutionary potential.
Juannisolu vineyards - Arzachena
Obtained from the vinification of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cannonau and Carignano grapes. The maceration of the skins in the must is continued for about three weeks to allow the balanced release of the noble substances and the color. The transformation of malic acid into lactic acid takes place immediately after the alcoholic fermentation in concrete tanks and is then transferred to barriques.
Refine for at least 12 months in small medium-toasted French oak barrels. After bottling, it rests in the bottle for a few months.
Color: Deep ruby red, with light garnet reflections produced by evolution.
Nose: hints of ripe red fruits and jams, spicy notes of Mediterranean scrub.
Taste: in the mouth it is elegant, full, soft and persistent.
