Monte Croce vineyard in the hilly area of Soave Classico (VR)
Withering of the grapes from 4 to 6 months. Fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature.
Aging for 12 months in French oak barriques.
Brilliant golden yellow with amber shades, it has an intense and complex bouquet of acacia honey, candied fruit and vanilla. On the palate it is velvety, soft and elegant, with a balanced and persistent finish.

8-10 °C (77°F)
It does not need decanting, but it evolves well once served
OVER 20 YEARS
Ideal with desserts and dry pastries, it is excellent with an apricot tart and goes well with savory and blue cheeses.

The historical context of the Belle Époque gives an idea of the frivolous and light breeze that crossed the city of Verona when Giacomo Battista Tommasi married Augusta in 1902 and went to live with his family. While continuing to cultivate the family land in Valpolicella, Giacomo already saw beyond wine, no longer as a simple drink, but as a superior quality product, intended for social occasions and celebrations.
