DESCRIPTION
The typical freshness of the traditional Sangiovese variety joins the exuberance of the Merlot fruit to represent the ancient territory of Montepulciano. The name of the wine celebrates Sabatino Lulli, known as “Sabazio”, a monk of the abbey of Montepulciano who was the first, in the medieval period, to provide indications for the production of wine in the area.

Traditional in steel.
After racking, the wine reached the stainless steel tanks to carry out the malolactic fermentation and begin the refinement period, which lasted about 4 months. Sabazio was bottled in spring 2017.
Sabazio 2016 has an intense ruby red color tending to purple. Fresh floral and fruity notes of violet and red currant strike the nose. On the palate it is fine, elegant, with a long sweet and fruity finish that recalls the aromas perceived on the nose.
HOW TO SERVE
16-18 °C (７７°F)
It is advisable to let the wine breathe for fifteen minutes before serving.
You can let it rest in the cellar for 4-5 years if kept properly.
Ideal with grilled red meats, aged cheeses, first courses, game.
