DESCRIPTION
The Tuscan wine Insoglio del Cinghiale Campo di Sasso is the cornerstone of the entire production carried out by the Tenuta di Biserno, a reality founded in 2001 by the Marquis Lodovico Antinori, eager to invest in the terroir of the Alta Maremma.

After the soft pressing of the grapes, the must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature for a period of 14-21 days.
8 months both in new barriques and in steel vats.
Intense ruby red. Red fruit on the nose and spicy sensations with aromatic notes; fades into a delicate balsamic finish. In the mouth it is balanced and of medium structure.
HOW TO SERVE
16-18 °C (77°F)
It is advisable to let the wine 'breathe' at least fifteen to thirty minutes before serving.
It can be left to rest in the cellar for 4-5 years if kept correctly.
Perfect to accompany wild boar, roast pheasant, game stews.
CELLAR
The Biserno estate was discovered by Lodovico Antinori in 1995. Initially, he thought of integrating these lands into the Ornellaia, but he soon realized that, considering the geology and the large size of the land, Tenuta di Biserno required a project separated, consequently, Lodovico Antinori, with his brother Piero and the owner of the land Umberto Mannoni, decided to give life to the Biserno estate. The estate is located in Alta Maremma and borders to the north and south with the more famous village of Bolgheri. Read more
