DESCRIPTION
A wine with an unmistakable force of expression that comes from the intuition of bringing together this grape variety, of Bordeaux origin, with the Friulian terroir. Savoring Merlot Vistorta is a unique experience, a flight through the wonderful and ancestral Bordelais landscapes, passing through Friuli, where this ancient wine develops a unique completeness and complexity. The simple awareness that the heritage is in the grape conditions choices such as having mature vines with very low yields but of very generous quality. Meticulous choices denote an immeasurable love for organically grown plants, choices that culminate at the time of harvest, with the tasting of the berries of all the rows. The result is a wine that simply ages well, which is the mirror of a land cultivated with love in respect of its precious fertility. Merlot Vistorta is also a wine that, crossing the generations, becomes historical memory, an incorruptible witness of the passing years and of the different and unique seasons that follow one another.

A WAY TRACKED BY DESTINY
"Ventura" means "destiny" and is a recurring word in the history of the Brandolini family. It is the story of a man and his great passion for the place that saw him born and grow up. And it is precisely the destiny that leads Brandino as a teenager from Paris, where he was studying without much enthusiasm, to an experience in a kibbutz west of Haifa. The contact with the work of the land excites him to the point of making him undertake agricultural studies at Texas A. & M. University. Read more
