Domaine Ponsot was born in 1872 in Burgundy, a land with a unique climate and wonderful natural landscapes, which recalls the strong alliance between time, tradition and man.
The Domaine, founded by William Ponsot, extends over some of the most prestigious vineyards in the area, including Clos de la Roche, Clos des Monts Luisants, Gevrey-Chambertine Les Combottes and Charmes Chambertin and since 1934 it has been marketing its wines not only in France but also abroad, particularly in the United States.
