Billecart Salmon
La Maison Billecart Salmon was born in 1818 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ from the marriage between Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon. Both families owned vineyards and the newlyweds carried on the family tradition that continues to this day: 200 years later, the Billecart Salmon maison is still a family business that has reached the seventh generation.
The faces have changed but the passion, the class and the refinement of their champagnes have remained intact, not for nothing their motto is "finesse, balance and elegance". 220 hectares of vineyards and 3 kilometers of tunnels (built even in 1840) where the cellars are located where you can admire both cuvèe of a few liters and “pièces Bourguignonne” up to 135 liters.
