DESCRIPTION
Produced for the first time in the 1977 vintage, it was the first pure Sangiovese vinified in our area of Radda in Chianti. The grapes come from the historic vineyards of Montevertine, planted between 1968 and 1999. It ages for one year in Allier barriques and one year in Slavonian oak barrels.

Beautiful bright ruby red. On the nose red fruits, spices, cocoa and coffee on a mineral background. Wine of great elegance and nobility, especially in the magnum format.
HOW TO SERVE
17-18 ° C
It is advisable to let the wine 'breathe' at least one or two hours before serving it.
It can be left in the cellar for over 10 years if kept correctly.
Perfect to accompany roasted white and red meats, noble poultry, game, cheeses.
CELLAR
Montevertine is a town that has been inhabited since the 1967th century. Traces of the original construction are still visible, undoubtedly of a defensive nature, subsequently transformed into a rural home. Montevertine was bought in XNUMX by Sergio Manetti, then a steel industrialist, as a holiday home. He restored the house making it habitable and immediately planted two hectares of vineyard and set up a small cellar with the idea of producing some wine for his friends and customers. Read more
