DESCRIPTION
The Supertuscan of Montalcino. The legacy of G.Tachis for Argiano. Since 1995 it has represented power and pride, pride and longevity. This exceptional red wine is a rather recent expression of the potential of Argiano viticulture compared to its Sangiovese-based red wines. 'Solengo', which in Tuscan means 'solitary boar', comes from the combination of Tuscan soil and French grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Syrah.
Sant'Angelo in Colle - Montalcino (SI)
Separate fermentations of the different varieties, maceration for about 20 days. Malolactic fermentation in cement.
About 18 months in French barriques from producers chosen specifically for this wine. 60% new and 40% second pass.
It is a powerful Solengo. Spicy on the nose, with pleasant notes of wild berries. Soft and velvety on the palate, with dense tannins and excellent persistence.

It is recommended to let it breathe 1 or 2 hours before serving
It can be left to rest in the cellar for over 10 years if kept correctly.
