DESCRIPTION
Predominantly Sangiovese based, Pactio celebrates the love for the Maremma, land of great men and great wines. Its symbol, the Two-faced Janus, proudly watches over the label and represents the historic alliance that gave it birth. Like the Roman divinity who looks at the past and the future at the same time, Pactio is a bridge between tradition and modernity.
Location Grilli-Gavorrano (GR) ITALY.
Soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel.
Aging for 4 months in mainly new Allier tonneaux followed by a brief passage in the bottle before being released.
Red wine, vinous, intense, fruity with hints of vanilla. On the palate, open and expressive, it shows delicious notes of ripe cherry on well-balanced tannins.
