DESCRIPTION
One of the great challenges of Capichera: to be the first to vinify Vermentino in barriques. After fermentation and refinement, the VT is put on the market no earlier than two years after the harvest. It can thus express its strong, unmistakable and profound character, so much so that it is often considered the most representative wine of the high quality of Capichera wines.
TENUTE CAPICHERA, ARZACHENA
In steel tanks at 16/18 ° C for 4 weeks
Oak barrels for a total of 4 months, bottle aging
Color: straw yellow with slight golden reflections, very limpid
Nose: intense and complex with notes reminiscent of orange blossom, lemon, aromatic herbs, wisteria, lavender flowers, licorice and citrus honey
Taste: dry but at the same time lively and warm, rich and pulpy, with citrus and honey tones, the finish is long and caressing with great aftertaste persistence.
HOW TO SERVE
8-10ºC
Dessert, but also with a varied platter of semi-aged goat cheeses.
