It is obtained from a careful selection of Cannonau grapes produced from forty-year-old vines in the “Dule” vineyard of the same name.
SUPRAMONTE - BARBAGIA
Fermentation on the skins for 20-25 days
12 months in barrique, 10-12 months in bottle
Deep and impenetrable ruby red. The nose has notes of blackberries and blueberries, myrtle, leather and licorice. With great aromatic persistence and impressive structure it maintains a broad and velvety taste.

Wine ready to drink immediately, but which can evolve well even 3/5 years if stored well in the cellar
It goes well with dishes based on red meat, wild boar, roast suckling pig and well-seasoned Sardinian pecorino
CELLAR
Giuseppe Gabbas' farm covers an area of about 30 hectares, of which 20 are vineyards and 5 are olive groves, at an altitude between 240m and 350m above sea level in a valley at the foot of Supramonte, in the heart of Sardinia, in ten Km. from Nuoro, the capital of Barbagia. The most cultivated vine is Cannonau, to which other local varieties have been added, selected from the most interesting of the rich Sardinian viticultural panorama. Learn more
