It is obtained from a targeted selection of Cannonau grapes only, coming from vines over forty years old, with a small addition of Muristellu, a native Sardinian vine.

Of a beautiful dark ruby red, intense and complex on the nose, with aromas of undergrowth and red fruit, jam and balsamic notes. In the mouth it releases an excellent body, with round and elegant tannins supported by a good acidic shoulder.

Wine ready to drink immediately, but which can evolve well even 3/5 years if stored well in the cellar
At the table it combines land cuisine, red meats, game and aged cheeses.

Giuseppe Gabbas' farm covers an area of about 30 hectares, of which 20 are vineyards and 5 are olive groves, at an altitude between 240m and 350m above sea level in a valley at the foot of Supramonte, in the heart of Sardinia, in ten Km. from Nuoro, the capital of Barbagia. The most cultivated vine is Cannonau, to which other local varieties have been added, selected from the most interesting of the rich Sardinian viticultural panorama. Learn more
