Montalcino
The grapes ferment separately according to the variety in steel vats, then macerate for 20 days at a controlled temperature and the malolactic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks.
Always refines separately for 12 months in barrique, then racked directly into cask. Finally it refines another 6 months in the bottle.

CELLAR Col D'Orcia
Col d'Orcia is one of the most historic wineries in Montalcino. Already in 1890 the Franceschi family bought the Frattoria di Sant'Antimo estate in Colle. In 1933 they presented their Brunelli at the wine show in Siena, one of the first wine fairs in Italy. As one of the few producers of Brunello and long before the world recognized the enormous potential of Brunello wines.
