DESCRIPTION
The potential of the volcanic soil sloping down to the sea and the meeting with Riccardo Cotarella, a winemaker of great value, particularly sensitive to the recovery and enhancement of Southern wines, led to the birth, in 1994, of a product that aroused incredible emotion in everyone . The "Terra di Lavoro", a wine of large structure, suitably aged in small oak barrels. Since its debut in 1994, the Terra di Lavoro has achieved great success with audiences and critics all over the world, continuously credited among the best wines of Italy. The vineyards were built on the family lands in the municipalities of Galluccio and Sessa Aurunca in the region that until the early 900s was the province of Terra di Lavoro. The color of the wine is dark and intense. The aromatic panorama ranges from red berries to the balsamic notes of the resin with spicy peaks. The mineral note that has always been the backbone of the Terra di Lavoro is unmissable. The tannins are soft and elegant and the aromatic persistence is long, very long.
S. Carlo di Sessa Aurunca (CE).
Contact with the skins for 20 days, with the cap sinking several times a day.Malolactic fermentation: fully developed in steel containers.
In new Allier and Never barriques for 12 months.
Terra di Lavoro 2013 is rapidly evolving in the bottle, giving good sensations to each new taste. The main feature is the expressive and aromatic readiness mainly oriented on the scents of red berried fruits with aromatic intrusions in the fresh and balsamic undergrowth. This vintage stands out for its bursting body, an indication of its willingness to support the work necessary to age for a long time. The tannins are important but never aggressive. The aromatic components, in full evolutionary phase, are the same as always, with the mineral veins, the balsamic and fruity textures in continuous progress during the long tasting supported by the even longer persistence (Producer's Notes).

CELLAR
From a common passion for the countryside and agricultural activities, Dora and Maria Luisa with Arturo, Roberto and Francesco started in 1991 the production of a high quality wine with the dream of renewing the ancient tradition of the noble Campania vines. Today Roberto is no longer with us, but Galardi's commitment to the search for wine expression at the highest quality levels is also perpetrated as a tribute to his person. Dora and Maria Luisa with Arturo, Roberto and Francesco have profoundly transformed the original agricultural activity. Thus was born in 1991 the decision to produce a high quality wine that renewed the tradition of the noble Campania vines. Read more
