DESCRIPTION
Land rich in marl and ferrous earth that gives this splendid wine an exceptional minerality. The climate of 2015 was a valid help giving this wine a rich and particular style. “Clos des Cortons Faiveley” has been owned by the family as a monopoly since 1874, recognized as the symbolic wine of the Domaine, one of the two Grands Crus of Burgundy to bear the name of its owner (another example is the Romanée-Conti).
Burgundy
Hand picked and selected grapes. The wines are whipped daily to extract color and tannins from the skins. For the alcoholic fermentation it will be necessary to wait 19 days.
18 months in French oak barrels.
Ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is strong and concentrated, we find ripe fruit such as black cherry and immediately afterwards the spices arrive. In the mouth it is pleasant, soft, fine and elegant.

16-18 ºC
Ready wine.
It can be perfectly stored in the cellar for 10-13 years
Perfect with furred game and aged cheeses such as pecorino.
