DESCRIPTION
The company began its history as a wine merchant, specializing in wines from the right bank of Bordeaux. At that time, the owners of the land had no control over the finished product, but the merchants controlled the bottling and sale. Historically Pomerol latched on to the larger region near Saint Emilion until discerning consumers recognized Pomerol for themselves.
Pomerol
Manual grape harvest. The vinification takes place in the traditional way and the fermentation takes place in steel tanks.
Matures in French oak barrels, further refinement in the bottle for 2 years.
Intense ruby color. On the nose aromas of black cherry, red currant, intense notes of licorice, mineral. In the mouth pungent flavors of sour red berries and spices. In the finish, the tannins are soft and silky. A long and very persistent wine.
