DESCRIPTION
Released in May 1984, the company began to call VINNAE the Ribolla Gialla to commemorate the birth of the second son Michele and the hundred years of work and dedication to the vineyard and wine of five generations of Jermann who arrived in 1881 from Bilijana (now Slovenia) in the village of Villanova. From Vinnaioli then Vinnae for the Ribolla Gialla which was mainly cultivated by the Jermann family since the 18th century. With the 2004 vintage the label was renewed with the addition of the double-headed eagle, found on an old barrel of the great-grandfather Anton, symbol of the Austro-Hungarian origins of the Jermanns, with the greeting of the cellar (servus cella).

It has a bright pale straw color. Fruity, mineral, elegant even in its peasant frankness, with a dry, fresh and savory flavor. Ribolla like Riesling is one of the richest wines in acidity and with an excellent medium body.

Ideal as an aperitif, with seafood appetizers, fish-based first courses, pleasant especially in summer for its great drinkability and freshness.
CELLAR
Silvio Jermann is today the most representative winemaker of Friuli Venezia Giulia. His wines can be discussed, criticized, loved, but one thing remains certain: these wines are everywhere in the world. Although Silvio is still far from fifty, he has already gained extensive experience, and not only in Italy: today's successes and results derive from years of work. The cellars and the estate are perfect and spectacular in every detail: the wines, pleasant, fresh and of great length are the mirror of their author. This time Jermann was able to create two spectacular wines and a third that stands next to them (“as always” says Silvio). Let's talk about Vintage Tunina 1997, a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Picolit and some aromatic varietals, which confirm it as a “top wine”.
