Of the
The Maison Delas winery belongs to the circle of the great and renowned wine producers of the Rhone Valley. The story begins in 1835 with the foundation by Charles Audibert and Philippe Delas. The two entrepreneurs have won numerous awards and achieved considerable success with their wine creations. It didn't take long for the good reputation to spread throughout the wine world. At the end of World War II, Maison Delas quickly became one of the leading wineries in the north of the Rhone and began to open up new markets. The winery remained in the hands of the founding families Audibert and Delas until 1977, when it was taken over by the Deutz champagne house.
Today, the Delas winery has extensive vineyards that offer optimal growing conditions for high-yield viticulture. Jacques Grange, an oenologist with many years of international experience, is in charge of the winery. Together with his team, he manages to exploit the potential of the vineyards. Jacques Grange uses modern cellar technology. This allows him to preserve the aromatic diversity and the special characteristics of the grape varieties typical of the region. The cellar master creates red and white wines full of character, which are characterized by a high degree of complexity and multilevel. Meanwhile, the Maison Delas and its talented cellar master belong to the absolute top of the French wine scene.
