Albert Pic
Maison Albert Pic & Fils was founded in 1755 and has been producing white wines of great territorial expressiveness for many years. The maison is located in the Chablis region, north-west of Burgundy, and was recently acquired by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette. The maison's goal is to be able to grasp every precious nuance of Chardonnay and translate it into a unique and exclusive Chablis. Thus, among the various company crus, the Premier Cru “Chablis Pic Premier” stands out.
This wonderful declination of Chardonnay is made possible by the favorable location of the owned vineyards, located in the most suitable areas for the cultivation of this variety. The soils, rich in fossils, are composed of marl and clayey limestone, which give the wine a pleasant mineral imprint. The climate of the region is continental, punctuated by hot summers and cold winters, with a certain frequency of very dangerous and feared spring frosts.
