DESCRIPTION
The best grape clusters over ten years old are ready to wither for the production of Amarone. The simple complexity of this wine must even be placed in the category of wines defined for meditation. A work on the nose, an art on the palate.
Val d'Illasi and Lodoleta - Verona (VR).
After a manual selection of the best grapes, the grapes are dried in boxes for about three months. Towards the middle of December, after further sorting, the grapes are pressed and fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The plant ensures automatic punching down for a period of fifteen days.
In new barriques, for a very slow fermentation activity of eighteen months on the residual sugars. Another six months of rest in the same barriques follow. It remains in the bottle for three years before being placed on the market.
Intense garnet red. Complex on the nose with notes of black cherries, blueberries, chocolate, truffles, tobacco and leather. On the palate it is warm and soft, with a great body and a powerful gustatory intensity. Very long persistence

It is advisable to uncork the bottle at least an hour before serving the wine.
Over fifteen years, if kept correctly in the cellar.
