DESCRIPTION
The first vintage of the Veuve Clicquot champagnes is the prestige cuvée of the maison. The precious essence of the Grande Dame is kept in a bottle with soft and sinuous lines, dark in the glass, which proudly displays its coats of arms: the marine anchor, emblem of the Maison, the initials VCP engraved in the glass, the signature of a large family and finally the comet, which crossed the sky in 1811, to which the exceptional quality of the wine of that year was attributed, thus baptizing it for the occasion "Wine of the Comet".

Refermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method.
Up to 7 years on the lees.
Golden yellow color with slight green reflections, the perlage is fine and delicate and persistent. On the nose a bouquet full of notes ranging from fresh fruit to dried fruit and citrus notes. Then come the toasted, mineral notes and those of freshly baked brioche. In the mouth with an elegant structure, velvety and soft, with great persistence
