William Fevre
Domaine William Fèvre - the best Chablis wines. The initial 7 hectares of vineyards have been extended over time to include more and more plots: today the estate covers 78 hectares, of which 15,9 hectares in Premiers Crus classified sites e 15,2 hectares in Gran Crus sites. William Fèvre is one of the largest landowners in Chablis. The soils around Chablis were formed in the geological phase of the Kimmeridgian and are characterized by silt and limestone. They have a high degree of minerality and freshness - characteristics that the wines grown here absorb and are a model for many winemakers around the world.
With passion at work
At the William Fèvre winery, we work very carefully and with great passion for wines. All the vines are treated with organic farming methods and the ripe fruits are picked and selected by hand. The most modern technologies complement traditional work significantly.
Since February 2015, the Domaine has been certified with "High Environmental Value" (HVE) - this status underlines the respectful treatment of nature to which William Fevré has dedicated himself.
Every step of the winemaking process, no matter how small, is carried out with care and precision, because this is the only way to produce the excellent wines for which the name William Fèvre is synonymous.
