Allegrini
Allegrini - a family in Valpolicella
The Allegrini family has been the protagonist of the history of Fumane and Valpolicella since the sixteenth century and, since then, has handed down the culture of grapevine and wine. Notarial documents attest that it played a prominent role in the local community and count it among the most important landowning families, always linked to agricultural work and to the enhancement of peasant tradition.
The Amarone most awarded by the Top of the 2021 wine guides is that Classico 2016 by Allegrini. The super classification drawn up by Civiltà del Bere matches the scores of the main national guides (Ais Vitae, Bibenda, Doctor Wine, Gambero Rosso, Slow Wine and Veronelli). Amarone Classico Allegrini 2016 is the only Amarone that has obtained the maximum recognition from 5 of the 6 main national guides.
