Ruggeri
The Ruggeri company was founded in the 50s by Giustino Bisol and is now run by Paolo Bisol with his children Giustino and Isabella. There are 17 hectares of property, but the grapes are also vinified by some small suppliers from best areas, all carefully followed by the technical service of Cantina Ruggeri. This great production potential allows us to produce Prosecco from grapes deriving from a specific soil and therefore an expression of the terroir.
Precisely this great attention to the quality of the grapes makes Ruggeri a leading company in the world for Prosecco.
The vineyards are located on land with various characteristics. The terrain of Cartizze di Sopra, which stands out above the town of San Pietro di Barbozza.
The vineyards owned by Ruggeri, from which the grapes for “Giustino B” and “Vecchie Viti” come, are located on exceptionally steep terrain and with steep slopes. Vineyards that can only be worked by hand and which allow us to define viticulture on these lands “Heroic viticulture”.
