The Contralta
La Contralta is a Gallura winery founded in 2019 with the aim of producing fine, elegant and long-lived wines starting from the island's traditional vines. The production philosophy is based on winemaking minimalism and sustainable agriculture. Our wines come from grapes with integrated sustainable cultivation. The project focuses on respect for nature, the landscape, the land and the fruit. The name La Contralta derives from the toponym of a small adjacent beach in Palau.

HISTORY
We believe in the longevity of the Vermentino from Gallura and we propose it at the moment of its maximum expression and complexity, at least one year after the harvest.
Our Cannonau is the classic Gallura red, a wine with ample, delicate and intense aromas, complex but at the same time easy to match.
We produce wines that are first of all authentic. The cornerstones of our production philosophy are: elegance, cleanliness, drinkability, pleasantness and longevity of the wines. We decided to wait a long time before putting the product on the market, without anticipating the times.
