Castle of Reignac
Château de Reignac is located near where the rivers Dordogne and Garonne converge (the “Entre Deux Mers”). Reignac offers a unique quality, bringing together the best types of "terroir" both right and left bank in one chateau. Lo chateau it was built by Seigneur Baude de Peyron in the XNUMXth century; then it was renovated between the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries. A notable greenhouse was designed by Gustave Eiffel, the man who created the tower that is Paris. Yves and Stephanie Vatelot bought the Reignac estate in 1990 and have worked continuously since to restore its former glory, including through the introduction of numerous innovations, and through the talented Michel Rolland as a winemaker.
