DESCRIPTION
The vineyards of the Gevrey Chambertin castle became part of the Domain in 2012, since then some vines have been planted in other places to rebalance the age.
Coast of Nights
Traditional fermentation in open vats.
18 months in used French oak barrels.
Ruby red color. On the nose red fruit of strawberry, cherry, smoky and floral notes of lavender and violet. In the mouth spicy notes, vanilla and cinnamon but also nutmeg. Balanced and velvety.
HOW TO SERVE
14-16 °C (77°F)
No decanting
It can be left to rest in the cellar for over 10 years.
Recommended to accompany grilled red meats and aged cheeses
