Louis latour
Maison Louis Latour was founded in 1797 and has remained a family business ever since. Louis Latour is a prominent name in the Burgundy wine scene and therefore also worldwide. Today it is under the management of Louis-Fabrice Latour, who is committed to preserving and perpetuating a prestigious heritage. Aloxe Corton houses the historic winery from 1832, the oldest active winery in the region, designed so that all movement of the product from the press to the vat is solely by gravity.
With a total area of 28 hectares, the Louis Latour estate is the largest Grand Cru estate in the Côte-d'Or. Another 30 hectares are spread over the rest of the Côte-d'Or, the Ardeche and the Var, forming one of the largest domains in France. Most of the vineyards are located in the commune of Aloxe Corton, the historic seat of the Latour family, which produces some of the best wines of Burgundy.
Louis Latour's red and white wines are sought after and appreciated all over the world, often reaching dizzying prices. Respect for nature and ancient traditions are the cornerstones of a production philosophy that aims at excellence and attachment to the land. Awesome!
